️ Parent & Teacher Q&A live discussion

Parent Abu Bakr: We can tell them that remembering Allah includes saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, and making du'a with joy. On Eid, we also say 'Allahu Akbar' on the way to the musalla — it fills our heart with gratitude. The teacher can organize a small takbir parade after the Eid activity.

Teacher Ibrahim: The Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded general 'greet one another' – it includes all people. The spirit is spreading kindness and mawaddah (affection). We teach children to say 'Eid Mubarak' to neighbours, classmates, and even the local shopkeeper. It builds community harmony, exactly what the musalla gathering intended.

Parent Layla: It symbolises unity, equality, and the public celebration of Islam. The whole community — men, women, children — gather in one place. It’s also practical for larger numbers. The Prophet ﷺ chose an open space so everyone could witness the sermon and exchange greetings. A beautiful reminder that Eid is not just private, but a communal joy.

Teacher Aisha: There are narrations that the companions would say 'Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum' (may Allah accept from us and you) and shake hands. The greeting ‘greet one another’ includes warm handshakes, hugs, and kind words. So we can hug our family and friends — it’s part of the Eid sunnah! The children love this.

Revive the forgotten: Gather in large space, remember Allah together, and exchange genuine greetings.
